With roots stretching back to 1956, the Massachusetts-based Wolpert Insurance Agency has officially folded into the operations of World Insurance Associates. The acquisition, finalized in October 2025, strengthens the national brokerage’s footprint across New England while integrating a firm specialized in high-stakes transportation and trucking coverage.
For World Insurance Associates, the move is a strategic play to deepen its regional presence. Rich Eknoian, Executive Chairman and founder of the Iselin-based company, noted that Wolpert’s focus on customer service mirrors his own organization's priorities. The transaction, for which terms were not disclosed, involved legal counsel from Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla for the buyer, and Fletcher Tilton PC for the seller, with BH Burke & Co. advising Wolpert.
