The collaboration marks a strategic evolution for Bad Birdie, which has spent years disrupting traditional golf fashion norms. Rather than developing a shoe independently, founder and CEO Jason Richardson opted for a technical alliance with PAYNTR Golf, utilizing their tour-validated All Day SC platform. This foundation incorporates a microfiber upper, waterproof membrane, and a 3D-molded Ortholite footbed to ensure professional-grade utility.
Rolling out in two limited-edition drops, the partnership begins with a USA-inspired shoe featuring red, white, and blue motifs in honor of the American semiquincentennial. A second release is scheduled for July. According to PAYNTR Golf creative director Michael Glancy, the design process went beyond simple branding, weaving Bad Birdie’s signature prints and iconography directly into the footwear’s structural DNA.
