Reporting to Liz Rychling, the head of broker relations for the Americas, Kwan transitions to the company after a long tenure at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. During his time there, he directed U.S. customer and distribution management, overseeing broker strategy and alternative risk transfer programs. Rychling noted that Kwan’s background in underwriting and distribution leadership will serve as a bridge between the firm’s product heads and its major broker partners.

AXA XL Hires Allen Kwan to Lead Broker Relations for Aon and NFP
Allen Kwan has joined the AXA XL U.S. broker management team in New York, taking on the role of Head of Broker Management. He will oversee strategic partnerships with Aon and NFP, tasked with expanding growth initiatives and improving access to the firm’s insurance and risk management product lines.
Kwan’s career history includes underwriting and operations roles at both Zurich Insurance and Beazley Insurance Group, where he focused on multinational property programs, cyber, and financial lines. He holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s College and a bachelor’s degree from California State University East Bay.
