The collaboration combines deepset’s agentic AI framework with HPE’s Private Cloud AI and NVIDIA-powered solutions. Organizations can now build and orchestrate multi-agent systems and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications while keeping data entirely within their own perimeter. This setup addresses the growing demand for production-grade AI that does not rely on public cloud dependencies, ensuring full auditability and compliance with stringent security requirements.

deepset Joins HPE Unleash AI to Deploy Sovereign AI Agents
In a move to secure mission-critical AI, deepset has joined the HPE Unleash AI program, integrating its Haystack Enterprise Platform with HPE infrastructure. The partnership targets government, defense, and highly regulated sectors, enabling the deployment of self-hosted, air-gapped AI agents that maintain strict data sovereignty and governance.

Deepset brings significant experience to the partnership, having already supported sovereign AI initiatives for the European Commission and the German Ministry of Research, Technology and Space. By leveraging HPE’s infrastructure, the company aims to reduce the complexity of deploying agentic systems in sensitive environments. Milos Rusic, CEO and co-founder of deepset, noted that the core challenge remains moving agents into production while retaining total control over infrastructure and sensitive data. The joint architecture is designed to support high-stakes use cases, ranging from classified decision-support systems and cybersecurity threat analysis to complex legal and financial workflows.
