U.S. Soybean Exports Exceed Analyst Expectations
U.S. soybean export sales reached 729,000 metric tons for the week ending June 11, landing at the upper end of market expectations. While analysts had projected a range between 400,000 and 850,000 tons, the latest Department of Agriculture report confirms a robust demand cycle for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 marketing years.
Despite the positive export data, CBOT grain futures faced downward pressure during pre-market trading. Corn, soybeans, and wheat all saw marginal declines of 0.5% as traders digested the latest supply and demand figures.
