The settlement with the End-User Purchaser class covers all allegations regarding industry-wide conduct, though Otter Tail maintains no admission of wrongdoing. Filed in 2024, the broader federal litigation targets Otter Tail alongside 20 other manufacturers, accusing the group of manipulating market prices for PVC piping.

While this payment secures a resolution with this specific plaintiff group, the company remains ensnared in wider legal proceedings. Otter Tail officials confirmed that the settlement is subject to final court approval and emphasized that the company will continue to defend its position against remaining claims should the current agreement fail to finalize.
