Kitazawa Sangyo Profits Drop Two-Thirds Amid Revenue Decline

Revenue for the Japanese firm fell to 14.03 billion yen, down from 15.56 billion yen in 2025. The erosion of profitability was even more pronounced at the operational level, where profits plummeted to 266 million yen against the prior year's 841 million yen. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, dropping to 367 million yen from 908 million yen.

Earnings per share consequently shrank to 11.85 yen, compared to 34.88 yen in the previous period. These figures, prepared according to Japanese accounting standards, underscore a challenging financial cycle for the group as it faces reduced margins across its core business operations.
