Remote People Launches AI Tool to Automate Global HR Operations

Remote People has introduced Command Center, an AI-powered assistant designed to execute complex global employment tasks rather than merely providing guidance. Unlike existing advisory chatbots in the Employer of Record sector, the platform allows users to manage payroll, terminations, and onboarding across 180 countries through natural language commands.

Remote People Launches AI Tool to Automate Global HR Operations

The launch marks a shift in how distributed teams manage administrative burdens. While previous AI integrations in the HR technology space focused on surface-level recommendations or task summarization, Command Center handles the underlying operational workflows. It automates nine specific functions at launch, including salary adjustments, contract amendments, and leave approvals, while ensuring local labor law compliance is baked directly into each process. By integrating statutory requirements and jurisdiction-specific legal pathways into the interface, the tool eliminates the need for teams to manually research local regulations for every action.

"Most AI launches have been built to give people information, but that is not the work," said Antoine Boquen, CEO of Remote People. "The work is adjusting a salary in Brazil or terminating an employee in Germany with the correct local procedure. We built this to be a partner that actually completes the operational heavy lifting." High-impact actions, such as terminations, remain subject to review by in-country experts to ensure legal precision. The platform maintains an automated audit trail for every request, providing organizations with a transparent record of all changes made across their global workforce. Remote People, which serves clients including Binance, Boeing, and Porsche, intends to expand the assistant's capabilities over the coming quarters to cover the entire employment lifecycle.
