Veeva Systems has acquired Copenhagen-based startup Copli, integrating its agentic technology into a new platform aimed at slashing manual labor in medical, legal, and regulatory reviews by 70% over the next five years. The acquisition marks a strategic push to replace traditional bottlenecks with automated compliance checks.
Jacob Scheel-Bech, former CEO of Copli, noted that the integration with Veeva PromoMats will allow the technology to scale across the industry. Emma Hyland, vice president of commercial content at Veeva, emphasized that the current MLR process is a persistent barrier to delivering information to healthcare providers and patients.
