Indigenous Gaming Partners Finalizes Gamehost Takeover

Indigenous Gaming Partners has officially taken Gamehost private, concluding a buyout deal that sees the Canadian casino operator exit the public markets. Shareholders are receiving $13.65 per share in cash, marking the final stage of an acquisition agreement that was first unveiled to the public back in March.

The transition involves a strategic shift in asset ownership, as VICI Properties concurrently acquired a selection of Gamehost’s real estate holdings. This secondary transaction injected 200.6 million Canadian dollars—approximately $141 million—into the deal structure. Following the completion of these arrangements, the Toronto Stock Exchange is set to delist Gamehost shares at the close of trading this Friday.
