The accolades recognize Thunes’ ability to bridge fragmented financial systems, allowing money to move securely between traditional banks, mobile wallets, and digital assets. An independent panel of industry analysts evaluated the entries based on innovation, market agility, and the ability to disrupt legacy payment barriers.

The Direct Global Network, which received the Platinum award, leverages a proprietary architecture to connect members to 12 billion mobile wallets and bank accounts, plus 15 billion cards across 140 countries. This system integrates the SmartX Treasury and Fortress Compliance platforms to provide real-time settlement and transparency. Meanwhile, the Gold-winning Business Payments solution caters to neobanks, gig economy platforms, and enterprises, streamlining supplier invoices and cross-currency treasury management.

Andrew Stewart, Chief Revenue Officer at Thunes, noted that these awards validate the firm's focus on removing systemic friction for its members. By enabling seamless scaling across international borders, the company continues to position itself as a foundational layer for global interoperability.
