The newly established Technician Advisory Board shifts AppWork’s product strategy from internal intuition to collaborative design. Rather than serving in a ceremonial capacity, these ten founding members are tasked with vetting upcoming features and setting development priorities. The group meets monthly with the company’s engineering and design teams to bridge the gap between software capabilities and field performance.

AppWork Forms Technician Board to Guide Maintenance Software Roadmap
Ten seasoned maintenance professionals from firms like Peak Living and The Michaels Organization now hold a direct seat in AppWork’s product development process. By formalizing this feedback loop, the company aims to ensure its maintenance platform reflects the daily, on-the-ground realities faced by its 15,000 active field users.

CEO Sean Landsberg emphasized that the board is a reaction to the need for practical input, noting that the platform’s utility depends on the expertise of those who use it daily. The founding members, representing major multifamily operators including REMM Group, AION Management, and Woodward Management Partners, were selected specifically for their extensive field experience and active use of the software. This initiative marks the start of a broader strategy, with AppWork planning to launch additional specialized boards focused on compliance and specific operational challenges in the near future.
