Robert W. Cain, the North American CIO of Schneider Electric and a Forbes Top 50 tech leader, has joined the Board of Directors at Raiven. His appointment arrives as the Irvine-based firm expands its agentic procurement platform, which leverages AI to automate sourcing and pricing for the trade industries.
Raiven CEO Manoj Puthenveetil noted that Cain’s deep understanding of the OEM and distribution landscape is critical for the company’s next phase of growth. The startup recently secured a patent for its AI-native application layer, which manages material availability and purchasing for electrical and HVAC contractors. By replacing manual processes with automated agents, the platform aims to help contractors maintain tighter margin control and increase operational capacity.
