SecureSpace Expands Seattle Footprint with New Skyway Facility

Positioned along the high-traffic corridor of Martin Luther King Jr Way South, where 31,000 vehicles pass daily, SecureSpace has launched its latest climate-controlled storage site. The four-story facility, now branded as SecureSpace Seattle Skyway, marks a strategic densification of the company’s network in the city’s southern districts.

SecureSpace Expands Seattle Footprint with New Skyway Facility

The new site at 5890 South 129th Street provides 72,625 square feet of leasable area, housing 822 individual units that range from 5x5 to 10x30 feet. This expansion bridges a logistical gap between the firm's existing Tukwila location, situated 1.6 miles to the south, and the Beacon Hill property located 4.7 miles northwest.

While the facility remains operational, management is currently executing a series of site-wide upgrades to align the building with the brand's premium specifications. These improvements include a complete redesign of the leasing office and the integration of proprietary AI-enabled surveillance and sensor arrays. Tenants are currently offered remote access to digital tools, including online unit sizing, virtual tours, and a contactless rental process.
