Chantrain brings a background in capital markets and corporate development to the position. Since joining the company in October 2022, he has overseen mergers, acquisitions, and corporate strategy. His previous experience includes a stint leading investor relations at Firmenich, combined with a academic foundation that features a doctorate from the Turku School of Economics and a degree in management engineering from the University of Liège.

Adecco Taps Diego Chantrain for Investor Relations and Strategy
Diego Chantrain will step into the role of Head of Investor Relations and Portfolio Strategy at The Adecco Group, marking a transition in the company's financial leadership. He replaces Benita Barretto, who departs the Zurich-based firm after a three-year tenure to pursue interests outside the organization.
In his new capacity, Chantrain reports directly to Group Chief Financial Officer Valentina Ficaio. Ficaio noted that his previous work on the firm's acquisition and divestiture pipeline proved essential in navigating current market opportunities. Barretto, who has managed the department since 2021, leaves the company as the global staffing and technology firm looks to further integrate its Adecco, Akkodis, and LHH business units.
