SBS CyberSecurity Launches Inaugural Converge AI Conference in Omaha

SBS CyberSecurity will host its inaugural Converge Cyber + AI Conference on October 6–7, 2026, shifting the focus from traditional lecture-heavy formats to interactive workshops and labs. The agenda features 23 sessions tailored for security teams and governance leaders, including a live capture-the-flag tournament and a physical security lockpick village.

Keynotes will be delivered by KnowBe4 CISO advisor Erich Kron, who will address human-centered security risks, and social-engineering expert Brian Brushwood. The speaker lineup also draws on deep regulatory and technical expertise, featuring former FDIC official Michael Benardo, Commercial Bank of Texas CIO Tim Leonard, and SBS CEO Chad Knutson. These sessions are designed to address immediate industry pain points, such as AI-driven fraud and the evolving expectations of federal examiners regarding corporate AI governance.
