The change is strictly cosmetic and organizational. Ownership, staffing, and day-to-day operations remain unchanged at the 9701 Reisterstown Road facility. By adopting the Group 1 name, the dealership aims to provide customers with a more consistent retail experience while maintaining the local relationships established since the company acquired the site in early 2024.

General Manager Rose Bayat stated that the rebranding provides local clients with the benefit of the group's national resources, including streamlined service and transparent pricing, without losing the familiarity of the existing team. The dealership continues to support drivers across Owings Mills, Pikesville, and Reisterstown with new and pre-owned vehicle sales, maintenance, and parts services. This transition is part of a wider effort by Group 1 Automotive, which manages 250 dealerships and 37 vehicle brands, to improve brand recognition and service consistency across its portfolio.
