By moving beyond simple engagement, Dario intends to capture economic incentives for health plans, where even minor gains in CMS Star Ratings can translate into significant per-member revenue improvements. This model addresses the common issue of fragmented care, where patients are often left to navigate chronic conditions without a unified clinical loop.

Dario CEO Erez Raphael stated that the move is designed to turn existing consumer-centric engagement into actionable clinical outcomes that directly influence risk-adjustment documentation and total cost of care. For health systems and Medicaid programs, the integrated architecture offers a way to retain patients and reduce readmissions without requiring Dario to build its own provider network.
