The appointment aims to accelerate market penetration for the company’s Evolve and ContraPest product lines. CEO Michael Edell, who has worked with Karabees at previous firms, stated that the move is intended to push the brand beyond its current market presence and into broader B2B verticals. Karabees will oversee the company's entire sales operation, focusing on revenue growth and refining the internal systems required for scaling.

Karabees arrives with a track record of guiding startups through acquisition. His resume includes senior leadership roles at Intercept Telehealth and Consult A Doctor, the latter of which was acquired by Teladoc Health. He also held executive positions at Entic and eLabor, both of which saw successful exits involving major acquirers like Microsoft and Blackstone Group. Karabees, currently a board member for New World Angels and the Miami Innovation Fund, will now apply that experience to SenesTech’s goal of modernizing long-term rodent population management.
