North America’s largest family-owned homebuilder, Mattamy Homes, has finalized the purchase of 145 homesites within the Verona master-planned community in Land O' Lakes, Florida. The transaction, completed on June 5, 2026, marks another step in the company’s expansion across the high-growth Tampa residential market.
Bob Meyn, President of Mattamy’s Tampa Division, noted that the site’s proximity to Interstate 75 and major employment hubs makes it an essential addition to the firm's regional portfolio. Beyond the housing stock, the Verona community is designed with 2,000 acres of preserved open space and agricultural land. Residents will have access to a suite of amenities slated for completion by mid-2027, including a fitness center, resort-style pool, pickleball courts, and extensive trail networks.
