Ernesta Opens Tenth Showroom in Virginia's Mosaic District

Stepping into the Mosaic District, custom rug retailer Ernesta has launched its tenth physical location, signaling a strategic push into Northern Virginia. The Fairfax showroom serves as a high-touch hub for homeowners and designers, bridging the gap between digital ordering and the tactile requirements of interior design.

Located at 2920 District Avenue, the new space allows visitors to inspect wool, natural fiber, and performance collections in person. The expansion complements the company's existing Bethesda footprint, deepening its penetration of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. According to Chief Sales Officer Jennifer Parker, the site was chosen specifically for its blend of retail and community activity, which aligns with the brand's focus on personalized design services.

Beyond standard rug sales, the Fairfax location introduces specialized support for complex projects, including stair runners and fireplace cutouts. The company, founded in 2022, continues to emphasize a rapid two-week turnaround for custom-sized pieces. Operations at the new facility run Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with Sunday hours extending from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
