NanaWall Marks Four Decades of Glass Wall Engineering

Four brothers launched NanaWall in 1986, transforming a niche real estate observation into a category-defining business. Based in Corte Madera, the company marks its 40th anniversary this June, having spent four decades bridging the gap between San Francisco-style innovation and the rigorous demands of German engineering precision.

NanaWall Marks Four Decades of Glass Wall Engineering

The company’s growth stems from a direct collaboration with architects, focusing on solving specific structural and aesthetic challenges. Ebrahim Nana, President and CEO, credits the firm’s longevity to a consistent instinct: identifying market gaps and building bespoke solutions. This approach has led to a series of industry milestones, including the development of the FoldFlat technology, hurricane-rated folding systems, and the PrivaSEE frameless acoustic wall.

Today, the product portfolio has expanded into a comprehensive ecosystem. The latest Generation 4 line integrates folding, sliding, and window fenestration systems into a unified design language. These systems are now tested through independent third-party evaluations to meet standards for acoustic performance, thermal efficiency, and structural integrity. As the firm enters its fifth decade, it continues to refine its minimal-sightline designs, maintaining its role as a primary supplier for high-end residential and commercial architectural projects globally.
