VidMage Overhauls AI Engine to Boost Motion Stability in Video Swaps

Singapore-based VidMage has launched an engine upgrade for its AI face-swap platform, claiming a 68.3% reduction in frame-to-frame drift. The update, which follows internal testing on thousands of assets, targets the technical hurdles of facial structure matching and lighting adaptation for creators producing short-form social media content.

The platform’s internal benchmarks, conducted across 3,850 photos and 1,480 video clips, show marked improvements in rendering quality. Human-rated realism rose by 32.8%, while expression retention saw a 27.9% gain. For group scenes, the success rate for multi-face swaps climbed to 93.4%, with the system now capable of tracking up to four faces simultaneously.

Designed for TikTok creators, YouTube Shorts producers, and marketers, the updated engine prioritizes stability during rapid motion. Processing times have been tuned to meet high-volume production needs, with photo swaps averaging 4.8 seconds and 30-second video clips completing in approximately 45 seconds. Growth Director Taylor Lei noted that the objective is to move beyond one-off demonstrations toward reliable, repeatable production workflows.

Security remains a core component of the deployment. VidMage deletes server-side browser files within two hours and processes media locally via its Mac application. Furthermore, the company stated that user-uploaded content and generated media are excluded from future AI model training.
