James Millington Named IGEL Field CTO for Healthcare in EMEA

Millington arrives at the role with a background spanning leadership positions at Armis, VMware, Imprivata, and Citrix. His appointment creates a transatlantic leadership structure for the company, mirroring the work of Jason Mafera, who oversees similar efforts in North America. In this new capacity, he will work directly with regional partners and healthcare providers to integrate IGEL’s immutable endpoint technology into clinical workflows.

Matthias Haas, Managing Director and CTO at IGEL, noted that the move reflects a strategic pivot toward healthcare as a primary vertical. As healthcare systems across Europe face mounting pressure to modernize digital workspaces while defending against rising cyber threats, Millington is expected to help providers navigate these complexities. His mandate includes deepening the company's partner ecosystem and ensuring that IGEL’s preventative security model remains central to the digital transformation of patient care delivery.
