Epson Expands EcoTank Lineup with Most Affordable Supertank Model

Epson America is targeting the growing market of hobbyists and crafters with the launch of its seventh-generation EcoTank printers. The new series, headlined by the entry-level ET-1910, aims to capture consumers shifting toward analog creative projects by offering a more accessible, cartridge-free printing solution for home use.

The new lineup includes the ET-1910, ET-2900, and ET-4903 models, all designed to eliminate the reliance on traditional ink cartridges. Epson claims these units provide enough ink in the box to last up to three years, depending on usage, while utilizing the company's Heat-Free technology to ensure immediate printing without warmup time. By transitioning to refillable ink tanks, the company asserts that users can achieve cost savings of up to 90 percent compared to conventional ink replacement models.

Functionality varies across the new devices to suit different needs: the base ET-1910 focuses on wireless printing, while the ET-2900 adds scanning and copying, and the ET-4903 includes an automatic document feeder for higher-volume tasks. All three models feature Wi-Fi connectivity and integration with the Epson Smart Panel app, allowing for mobile control. The ET-1910 is currently available for $159.99, with the more feature-heavy variants priced at $239.99 and $299.99 respectively.
