Zeon Corp reported a net profit of 12.71 billion yen for the quarter ending June 30, a substantial leap from the 7.51 billion yen recorded during the same period last year. The Japanese manufacturer’s latest financial results, prepared under local accounting standards, highlight a period of aggressive bottom-line growth.

Revenue climbed to 109.47 billion yen, up from 103.08 billion yen a year earlier, signaling steady demand for the company’s output. Efficiency gains were equally evident across the board, with operating profit reaching 16.30 billion yen against the previous year’s 12.13 billion yen. Pretax figures also showed strong momentum, rising to 18.85 billion yen from 11.97 billion yen.

Shareholders saw a direct impact from these gains, as earnings per share rose to 66.43 yen from 38.06 yen. Diluted earnings per share mirrored this trajectory, climbing to 66.40 yen compared to 38.05 yen in the prior year.
