While net income rose, per-share earnings slipped to $1.03 from $1.05 due to shifts in share volume. Despite this slight dip, the company surpassed market expectations. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had projected adjusted earnings of $1.01 per share, a target the utility provider successfully exceeded.

Looking ahead, the company reaffirmed its full-year guidance, projecting adjusted earnings per share in the range of $4.25 to $4.45.
