The investment coincides with a major leadership overhaul at the New York-headquartered company. David T. O'Malley, formerly of Numerated Growth Technology, has been appointed as CEO and Board Chair to spearhead international expansion. Katharine Briggs joins the executive team as Chief Growth Officer, tasked with scaling delivery and go-to-market strategies across the United States and EMEA regions.

LemonEdge aims to replace outdated accounting tools that often force firms to manage complex processes offline. With global private market assets under management projected to hit $26.7 trillion by 2030, the platform is prioritizing the deployment of its 2026 and 2027 innovation roadmaps. Stevi Petrelli of Blackstone Innovations Investments noted that the platform’s focus on native AI capabilities and shortened close cycles remains a primary draw for institutional finance leaders. BNY, which also joined the round, highlighted the growing necessity for a single, auditable system of record capable of supporting new, sophisticated fund types.
