CEO Patrick Dovigi attributed the performance to the dedication of the company’s 15,000-plus employees and the underlying resilience of its operations. The company saw a 6.1% boost from core pricing, helping to offset macroeconomic uncertainty. Adjusted EBITDA rose 14.8% to $591.2 million, with underlying margins expanding by 125 basis points when excluding impacts from commodities, diesel prices, and M&A activities.

Looking ahead, GFL is navigating the regulatory review process for its proposed acquisition of SECURE Waste, with a targeted closing in late 2026. Simultaneously, the board has established a special committee of independent directors to evaluate unsolicited interest from parties considering taking the company private. For the full year, GFL now projects revenue between $7.51 billion and $7.53 billion, with adjusted EBITDA expected to reach approximately $2.29 billion.
