Singapore-based ADA has finalized its acquisition of Algonomy, a retail-focused decisioning firm, in a move to transition from data analytics to autonomous, agentic customer experiences. ADA Acquires Algonomy to Scale Agentic AI for Global Retail

The merger brings together ADA’s data foundation and Algonomy’s decisioning technology, which manages real-time pricing, product offers, and messaging for over 400 global brands. By embedding Algonomy’s capabilities into its platform, ADA intends to shift retail engagement from human-led advice to machine-executed action. Clients will continue to access existing Algonomy products while gaining entry to ADA’s broader suite of AI services.

Srinivas Gattamneni, CEO of ADA, views this as a step toward a future where every customer touchpoint is managed by AI agents. Atul Jalan, who founded Algonomy two decades ago, joins the combined entity to oversee the transition. The unified business will operate globally under the ADA brand, leveraging a combined workforce of 1,300 employees to serve clients across retail, CPG, and financial services sectors.
