Empower Community Care Names JP Guilbault as CEO

After a decade of steering Empower Community Care through a period of rapid global expansion, co-founder Josh Glade is stepping down as chief executive. The behavioral health organization has selected JP Guilbault, a veteran leader of mission-driven technology firms, to oversee its next phase of growth across 35 countries.

Empower Community Care Names JP Guilbault as CEO

Guilbault joins the Atlanta-based company following his tenure as CEO of Navigate360, where he managed safety platforms for K-12 schools. His professional background also includes leading Community Brands and YourMembership, organizations that provide infrastructure for nonprofits and educational institutions. At Empower, he inherits a network that supports over 2,000 agency customers and impacts 3 million families through evidence-based behavioral health programs.

Glade will transition to a seat on the company’s Board of Directors, where he intends to focus on strategic partnerships and potential acquisitions. Joel Killion, a partner at NexPhase Capital, noted that the executive team reached a unanimous decision regarding the succession. For the incoming CEO, the priority remains balancing the organization’s clinical rigor with the need to scale services for public systems and provider networks globally.
