A 90,000-pound truck traveling at 90 miles per hour can now be brought to a controlled stop on the I-10 and Woodrow Bean Transmountain corridor. Impact Technologies has deployed its CatchNet vehicle arresting system within the roadway median, offering a compact safety alternative where traditional gravel escape ramps were physically impossible.
