CCI Insurance Rebrands Tech Platform as RiskCorrect for Wider Market

St. Petersburg-based CCI Insurance has rebranded its proprietary workers' compensation software as RiskCorrect, signaling a strategic shift toward broad-market commercial risk management. The platform, which integrates incident tracking with AI-driven analytics, is now available to companies outside the firm's existing client base that manage complex, high-exposure risk profiles.

Since its 2020 debut, the software has evolved from a specialized tool for managing workplace injury claims into a comprehensive engine for underwriting strategy and safety operations. By leveraging artificial intelligence to identify loss patterns across large datasets, the system offloads routine administrative tasks, allowing human specialists to focus on corrective actions rather than just reactive documentation.

For high-exposure industries, such as construction, the implications extend beyond insurance premiums. Managing incident rates and loss histories directly influences a firm's ability to qualify for major contracts. According to co-founder Tobin Robeck, the platform provides the granular reporting necessary to demonstrate proactive risk mitigation to underwriters. Furthermore, CCI notes that the system helps stabilize employee retention by streamlining the claims process, reducing the friction that often leads to staff turnover following accidents.

The expansion follows CCI’s integration into the Higginbotham brokerage network, which has provided the scale to move the platform from an internal competitive advantage to a standalone commercial product. Higginbotham CEO Rusty Reid emphasized that the move reflects the firm’s commitment to scaling technology-driven solutions that address the total cost of risk for clients.
