Morgan, who joined Freestone in 2000, has built a career advising the Pacific Northwest’s most prominent entrepreneurs and executives. His inclusion in this year's rankings highlights a professional trajectory that has seen him consistently recognized by the publication since 2010. Beyond his client-facing responsibilities, Morgan remains a core member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Board of Directors, balancing individual advisory work with high-level corporate governance.

Since its founding in 1999, Freestone has expanded its assets under management from $250 million to over $15 billion. The firm maintains a fee-only model and operates across several key markets, including San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Anchorage. Morgan credited the firm’s longevity and recent recognition to a holistic approach to wealth management, noting that the team continues to refine its strategies to address the evolving financial complexities faced by its clients.
