Jerez Winemakers Bring Sherry Traditions to New Orleans
For the first time, the Jerez region is bringing its historic viticulture to New Orleans, marking a significant expansion of its U.S. outreach. The program launches October 1 at The Royal Sonesta, featuring a series of masterclasses and tastings designed to showcase the diversity of Spanish fortified wines.
Beyond the primary showcase, the delegation will host localized training for staff at venues including Costera and Mildred's at The Warbler Hotel, alongside consumer tastings at Faubourg Wines. Following the Louisiana debut, the initiative moves to New York City for the Feria En Rama at High Line Nine on October 4 and 5. This larger activation will feature more than 30 producers, pairing the wines with traditional flamenco, Spanish cuisine, and seminars to emphasize the cultural heritage of the Cádiz province.
