XPENG Shifts Focus to Mass-Producing Humanoid Robots
Guangzhou-based XPENG has officially moved its robotics program from the laboratory to the factory floor, holding its first supply chain conference to secure production for its IRON humanoid series. With manufacturing lines now active, the company aims to initiate mass production by the end of this year.
He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO, framed the project as a long-term undertaking that exceeds the complexity of the automotive sector.
