Cadent CEO Nick Troiano Steps Down After Decade of Expansion

Under Troiano’s tenure, the company transformed from a television-focused entity into a predictive advertising powerhouse. The workforce grew from 200 to over 600 employees, while revenue tripled alongside a series of strategic acquisitions. This period of expansion culminated in the recent launch of the unified Cadent Platform, designed to bridge converged TV and digital media. Troiano will remain with the firm as a strategic advisor to ensure continuity.

Utzschneider brings extensive experience from her previous role as CEO of Integral Ad Science and senior leadership positions at Amazon, Yahoo!, and Microsoft. As she takes the helm, she will oversee the company's core strategy while the board of directors initiates a search for a permanent successor. David Brassard, a partner at Novacap and Cadent board member, noted that Utzschneider’s background in ad tech makes her uniquely qualified to maintain momentum as the firm navigates ongoing shifts in the advertising landscape.
