Assets under management at Prudential’s U.S. financial advice division have surged by more than 60% over the last three years, climbing from $27 billion to $44 billion. Prudential Rebrands U.S. Advice Business as Wealth Advisors

The rebranding signals a shift from traditional insurance-focused roots to a comprehensive wealth management platform. The division currently supports more than 3,000 financial advisors nationwide, offering a model that combines local leadership with the investment platform of LPL Financial. According to Pat Hynes, president of Prudential Wealth Advisors, the change reflects an intentional evolution in how the firm supports advisors at every career stage.

By integrating insurance and annuity expertise with broader investment solutions, the firm aims to capture a larger share of the market for experienced wealth managers. The company reports that its current growth is driven by advisors seeking a balance between independent practice management and the resources of a global institution. As the firm continues to invest in its technology and advisory tools, it positions itself to compete for high-net-worth clients who require complex, holistic financial planning.
