The company now expects fiscal-year revenue of $1.28 billion to $1.29 billion, with organic revenue growth flat. Its previous forecast was $1.290 billion to $1.315 billion in revenue and organic growth of 1% to 3%. Adjusted earnings are projected at $4.48 to $4.55 a share, compared with the prior range of $4.55 to $4.65. Prestige also reduced its adjusted free cash flow forecast by $5 million, to $265 million or more from $270 million or more. Chief Executive Ron Lombardi said variability in production of Clear Eyes drops at Pillar5 would weigh on revenue in the second half of the fiscal year. He said the outlook for the rest of the portfolio was unchanged, with the base business expected to grow and recent acquisitions on track to deliver sales and profit in line with prior guidance. Lombardi described those expectations as a testament to the company’s trusted brands and diversified business model amid a challenging consumer environment.

For the fiscal second quarter, net profit fell to $25.3 million, or 53 cents a share, from $42.2 million, or 86 cents, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings, excluding certain one-time items, were $1.13 a share, above analysts’ $1.07 estimate. Revenue rose to $336.3 million from $274.1 million and exceeded expectations of $329.1 million.
