During his term, Ramosedi plans to prioritize the integration of artificial intelligence within the accounting sector and reinforce trust as a primary professional asset. Alongside Association Chair Jan Lewis, he intends to guide the profession through ongoing economic volatility. Dr. Matthew Hansard was elected to serve as CIMA Deputy President to support these initiatives.

Ramosedi brings over three decades of financial leadership experience to the position. His career includes executive roles at Nedbank, ABSA Bank, and African Bank, followed by a tenure as CEO of Bayport Financial Services in South Africa. A dedicated volunteer for the institute since 1998, he previously chaired the Southern Africa Regional Board and received the CIMA Silver Medal in 2013 for his contributions to the global accounting body.
