VEVOR Tests Commercial Ice Makers in Houston Bar Activation

A three-night campaign at 10 Houston venues is putting VEVOR’s $313.90 integrated ice maker to the test during the 2026 tournament. By deploying the countertop units across busy bars, the brand aims to demonstrate high-volume production capabilities to hospitality operators through live, real-world stress testing.

Running from June 28 through June 30, the "VEVOR Gameday Houston Giveaway" embeds the hardware directly into the service flow of local establishments. Featured sites, including The Decoy's, Wakefield Crowbar, and Monkey's Tail, host live stations where the machines produce ice for complimentary drinks. Each night, guests can claim a drink by scanning a QR code, while operators observe the units managing peak-hour demand in a high-traffic environment.

The featured hardware is designed to challenge the pricing of traditional commercial equipment, which often ranges from $800 to over $2,000. VEVOR claims its unit outputs 120 pounds of ice daily with a 10-minute first-batch cycle and a 50 dB noise level. Beyond the live demonstration, the event serves as a promotional push for the company's recent expansion into physical retail following the opening of its first Houston flagship store earlier this year. Guests at the participating venues are also entered into nightly draws to win merchandise and the ice makers themselves.
