Kingwood-based Smile Source has expanded its digital ecosystem by launching a dedicated lab module within its existing marketplace. The platform now allows the network’s 1,200 member dentists to manage lab case submissions, track progress, and coordinate with partners directly alongside their standard supply procurement.
Tom Rimmer, Vice President of Partnerships at Smile Source, noted that the move is intended to provide greater transparency and faster turnaround times for private practitioners. The network, which currently supports over 800 locations nationwide, views this update as a strategy to help independent clinics maintain operational efficiency without sacrificing autonomy. The module is available immediately to all existing members, marking a shift toward a more unified business management experience for the group.
